Description
The Doylestown Collection will always hold a special place in our hearts. Not only is it named after the town where we grew up, but we also designed it as a representation of our heritage, specifically our grandparents, Lawrence and Irma Nyce. The Nyce family has a long history associated with Doylestown, PA. Our grandfather owned Nyce’s Feed Mill & Supply Yard. He sold feed for animals, coal, grain, and other farm and home supplies.
The grain-sack stripe fabrics, checks, and the patchwork side of this quilt we designed in honor of him. Our “Gramfaw” was a wonderful man; hard-working, fun-loving, masculine, gentle, and kind. Our Nana was everything you could want in a grandmother; she loved to bake and cook, she took loving care of us, she sewed, gardened, and always had time for a chat. We designed the floral fabric in this collection to represent her beauty and grace. We think these fabrics work beautifully together and compliment each other in the same way our grandparents did; with just the right mix of hard-working practicality and graceful femininity!
Our gorgeous Doylestown Throw consists of a patchwork of 10″ blocks in gingham, grain-sack and ticking stripes and solid cream squares (the cream matches our Ashley Cream Collection) and the Stitch in the Ditch & Echo Hand Quilting along with machine pieced precision combines to create a gorgeous, luxurious heirloom quality. Our throw reverses to a vibrant blue floral design on a cream background. All pieces of the Doylestown Collection go together seamlessly, so you can create your own one-of-a-kind designer style. 100% cotton.

I love this quilted throw. It looks great on my loveseat. This quilt is extra thick, perfect for pets. It washed up nicely too.
