This company holds “themselves environmentally responsible” (their own words) regarding the production process that they use in their factories. The home decor division, that produces the signs you see here, uses the boards and wooden shims that are cut off of the logs and boards in the lumber facility.
Not only do they use by-products to create these signs, but sawdust generated in their factories, helps to power buildings in their industrial complex and small pieces of wood chipped off and discarded in the manufacturing process are used as mulch for their landscaping operation.
This innovative and forward-thinking mindset has created a company that is earth-friendly, utilizing 100% of the trees they harvest! Now that is a progressive business!

For years now, people have been talking about the concept of “hygge” that is very central to the people in Denmark.
As the country’s official tourism website explains, the term hygge — pronounced “hue-ga” — roughly translates to “coziness,” but there’s so more to it than that: “Hygge means creating a warm atmosphere that promotes happiness and security; enjoying the good things in life with good people. The warm glow of candlelight is hygge. Friends and family – that’s hygge too.”
