There is something nostalgic and heartwarming about this time of year!! For many of us, it calls to mind the “good ol’ days” when we’d be returning to high school or our college campus… Summer is having its last hurrah, with yards brown and crispy and potted plants and flowers absorbing every drop of water, instantly. We know that nature is just about to put on its most spectacular display of the year, and we can’t wait!
Many of us are reluctant to think about leaving summer behind as we head into September… It’s hard to believe that we’re moving quickly into August and school starting up again… In some ways, it seems like summer just got here! But days are getting shorter and our hot and humid summer of 2022 will soon be a thing of the past!!
If you think the Christmas in July idea is a clever marketing tactic devised by retailers in recent years, you’d be 100% wrong!! Believe it or not, this concept has actually been around for 89 years!! Who knew?! It is true, of course, that it has become a much bigger phenomenon than it was in the early days, but it’s actually had a lot of years to grow.

We are thrilled with the warmer days and gorgeous nights that are in full bloom here in the northeast!
