Refresh Your Porch for Summer

We are thrilled with the warmer days and gorgeous nights that are in full bloom here in the northeast! This year, we’re hoping to be able to get out and enjoy everything that makes this all-too-short season so amazing…  hiking, biking, kayaking, beaching, camping, sailing, vacationing, traveling, cooking out, visiting, picnicking, swimming, and everything we neglected to mention!! We’re planning on the ultimate summertime experience and wishing the same for you!

And, since hotter days are already here, if you haven’t already made those outside spaces beautiful and inviting, welcoming everyone to come and relax for a while, Now is the Time! We just love the idea of designing a gathering place where we can enjoy time with friends and family during these luscious weeks ahead!

We think one of the best features a home can have is a welcoming, inviting, decked-out porch!

We admit that we also love decks and back porches, we Really do, but there is something extremely open and welcoming about a good old-fashioned front porch!! It just seems to extend a kind of open invitation to everyone that’s jogging, biking, walking, strolling, or even driving by to come on over, and talk awhile! It gives friends and neighbors a place to gather; either for a quick visit or to settle in comfortably and have a cup of tea or a glass of wine, adding an element of community along with the exciting conversation.

So, if you haven’t gotten around to spicing yours up for summer, here are a few ideas for you…
